Important Considerations
- The Swiss feature is available for customers on all Plus plans. If you're already a Plus customer, reach out to your dedicated Customer Success Manager to learn more. Curious, but not yet on Plus? Discover how Plus can supercharge your business growth.
- The Swiss feature is not enabled by default. Please reach out to your dedicated Customer Success Manager to learn how to add this feature to your site or to check if it is included in your existing plan.
- Some changes will not be reflected in the Site Builder as you make them. You will need to save changes and preview the page as a student to view any updates and changes.

How It Works
Swiss provides you with site page sections that allow you to control site access and customize page elements to ensure your site meets your specific needs. These sections can be added within the Site Builder and are used alongside other site settings, such as your sign-up fields.
To access the Site Builder from the Admin Dashboard and start adding sections:
- Go to Channels
- Select Website
- Click on the page that you would like to add the section to
Site Security & Access Enhancements
Enhancing site security and managing access is crucial for providing a safe learning environment. Swiss allows you to control who can access pages and content to ensure that only authorized users are able to enter, and includes many different features that allow you to improve your site’s security. Learn more about each of them below.
By setting up Restricted Site, you are able to limit access to your site and make it available to your users exclusively. This is particularly useful for creating exclusive content areas or membership-based sections.
To set up Restricted Site:
- Add custom fields to your sign-up page
- Navigate to the Site Builder
- Select the Sign in default page
- Click + Add section
- Select the Restricted Site section
- Click Save
- Copy the code shown on the page
- Navigate to Settings from your Admin Dashboard
- Select the Code & analytics tab and paste the code into your site footer code
- Click Save
In the Site Builder, you can also customize the heading and subheading for this section by clicking on the section to go into the section settings.
The Redirect Always feature allows you to automatically redirect users from one page to another. This is useful for guiding users to updated content or consolidating outdated pages.
To set up Redirect Always:
- Navigate to the page you would like to redirect in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Redirect section
- In the section settings, select the page you would like to redirect to under the Redirect Page dropdown
- Check Enable Redirects?
- Click Save
This feature allows you to automatically redirect enrolled users to the Course Player from the course page.
To set up Redirect (Course Player):
- Navigate to the page you would like to redirect in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Redirect (Course Player) section
- Check Enable Redirects?
- Click Save
With this feature, you can redirect users to a desired page based on their enrollment status. For example, users not enrolled in a course can be redirected to a sign-up page.
To set up Redirect by Enrollment Status:
- Navigate to the page you would like to redirect in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Redirect by Enrollment Status section
- Check Enable Redirects?
- Under the Redirect When dropdown, select either Enrolled or Not Enrolled
- Under the Redirect page (failed) and Redirect page (passed) dropdowns, select the pages you would like to redirect to based on whether or not the user matches the criteria set in the previous step
- Click Save
The Redirect Timer feature allows you to set up timed redirects which automatically move users to a different page after a specified duration.
To set up Redirect Timer:
- Navigate to the page you would like to redirect in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Redirect (Timer) section
- Check Enable Redirects?
- Under Redirect Page, select the page you would like to redirect to when the desired date/time has passed
- Under Expiry date and time (UTC), select your desired date/time
- Click Save
This section also includes a widget that pops up on the page with a countdown to the date/time that you set. This can be customized to your liking, such as colors and location on the page. To customize the widget, simply go into the section settings and click on the Headings, Widget Visibility, Widget Style, and Widget Location settings to make changes.
This feature enables you to redirect users based on their sign-in status, ensuring that only authenticated users can access certain pages.
To set up Redirect by Sign-in State:
- Navigate to the page you would like to redirect in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Redirect (Sign in State) section
- Check Enable Redirects?
- Under Behavior, select your desired behavior
- Under the Redirect Url [Not logged in] and Redirect Url [logged in, dropdowns, select the pages you would like to redirect to based on whether or not the user is signed in
- Click Save
With Redirect by Email, you can redirect specific users based on their email addresses and provide a more personalized navigation experience.
To set up Redirect by Email:
- Navigate to the page you would like to redirect in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Redirect by Email section
- Check Enable Redirects?
- Under Redirect Page, select the page you would like to redirect users to if their email address does not match the allowed emails list
- Under Email address (allowed), enter in email addresses you would like to allow, one per line
- Click Save
Set Up Customizing Page Elements
By personalizing your site's appearance, you can enhance user experience and align your site with your branding. Our customization features allow you to hide or modify specific page elements with ease.
This section is not supported on the Performance Checkout and will only show on the Two-Step Checkout.
This feature allows you to remove the password field from the checkout process to create a smoother user experience.
To set up Hide Checkout Password Field:
- Navigate to the Site Builder
- Select the Checkout - sign in default page
- Click + Add section
- Select the Hide Checkout Password section
- Click Save
If you prefer to prevent users from accessing the default Student Dashboard, this feature allows their redirection to a different page or experience. This is particularly useful for custom student portals or onboarding tasks.
To set up Hide Dashboard:
- Navigate to the Site Builder
- Select the Student dashboard default page
- Click + Add section
- Select the Dashboard Hide section
- Under Settings, check your desired settings
- Click Save
Remove the Rate This Course button from course pages to maintain a cleaner interface appearance.
To set up Hide Reviews Button:
- Navigate to the page you would like to add the section to in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Hide Reviews section
- Click Save
Gain full control over the appearance of your pages by hiding the header and footer.
To set up Hide Header and Footer:
- Navigate to the page you would like to hide the header and/or footer from in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Hide Header/Footer section
- Under Settings, check your desired settings
- Click Save
Prevent users from creating accounts manually by removing the "Create a new account" link on your sign-in page. This option is particularly useful for creating invite-only or restricted-access sites.
To set up Hide Create Account:
- Navigate to the Site Builder
- Select the Sign in default page
- Click + Add section
- Select the Hide Create Account section
- Click Save
Modify how course cards appear on your site, giving you more design flexibility.
To set up Card Tweaks:
- Navigate to the Site Builder
- Select the All Courses default page
- Click + Add section
- Select the Card Tweaks section
- Under Settings, check your desired settings
- Click Save
With this feature, you can hide certain parts of the default section, or hide this section entirely.
To set up All Courses Page Hide Stuff:
- Navigate to the Site Builder
- Select the All Courses default page
- Click + Add section
- Select the Card Tweaks section
- Under Settings, check your desired settings
- Click Save
Enhance conversions with a Smart Call-to-Action (CTA), which gives you more advanced control over the CTA buttons on your course page. This adds additional settings to the "standard" Banner (Course) section.
To set up Banner Smart CTA:
- Navigate to the page you would like to add the section to in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Banner (course) Smart CTA section
- Check Hide default buttons (product pages only)
- Under Blocks, click + Add button
- Under the button settings, select your desired settings:
- When to show? - Always, enrolled in, or not enrolled in a product
- Enrollment Check - The product to check user's enrollment status for if "Enrolled In" or "Not Enrolled In" is selected
- Link Type - Either a custom link, or using the automatic resume link (will only show if they can resume), free trial link (will only show if the course is not free and has a free trial lesson), buy course link (will only show if the course is purchasable), or free enrollment link (will only show if the course is free and the user is not enrolled)
- Click Save
This section is not supported on the Performance Checkout and will only show on the Checkout - Sign up page on the Two-Step Checkout. If you are using the Performance Checkout, this section can still be added to the default sign-up page. If you are using the Two-Step Checkout and would like to add this section to both pages, it will need to be added to both pages separately.
Add customized fields to the sign-up form, collecting more valuable information from new users.
To set up Magic Signup Fields:
- Add custom fields to your sign-up page
- Navigate to the Site Builder
- Select the Checkout - Sign up default page
- Click + Add section
- Select the Magic Signup Fields section

Click + Add Custom Field and add a block for each of your custom fields
Ensure that the Label matches the name your custom fields.
- Optional: Set the Type for the custom fields
- Click Save
- Copy the code shown on the page
- Navigate to Settings from your Admin Dashboard
- Select the Code & analytics tab and paste the code into your site footer code
- Click Save
Use different logos for specific pages based on enrollment status, branding your site uniquely across different areas.
To set up Swap Logo:
- Navigate to the page you would like to swap the logo in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Swap Logo section
- Click + Add logo
- Under Course or Bundle, select the product to check enrollment for
- Under Logo Image, click Upload and either drag and drop or select your desired image from your computer
- Click Save
Customize the sign-in page header to provide a more branded experience.
To set up Sign In Heading:
- Navigate to the Site Builder
- Select the Checkout - sign in default page
- Click + Add section
- Select the Sign In Heading section
- Under Heading, enter your desired text
- Click Save
Set Up Additional Utilities
This feature allows you to add custom embed code into your pages, such as for calendars, forms, or other widgets.
To set up Embed Code:
- Navigate to the page you would like to add embed code to in the Site Builder
- Click + Add section
- Select the Embed Code section
- Under Embed Code, paste your embed code
- Click Save
