Once you've Created your Course and carefully crafted your Course Landing Page, you're just about ready to Publish your Course. Take a few minutes to go through the checklist below to make sure you haven't missed anything!

Use this checklist as a general guide to determine what steps you will want to consider before publishing your first course.

Check lessons with warnings

Make sure that you don't see any red warnings of missing content in the Curriculum tab, as shown in the image below:

Uncheck Draft on all the chapters and lessons you want to available to your students

Even if your course is published, the Draft setting will keep content hidden until this setting is removed:

Don't forget to link to Thinkific Payments, Stripe, and/or PayPal to accept payments.

Take a run-through of your course as a student

Preview your course as a student (by hitting 'preview' from the top right-hand corner of the course builder) to see if there's anything you've missed:

You can add branding to your site and home page. If this is your only course, and you would prefer your course landing page is the only page visible when visitors come to your site, you can add a home page redirect to your course landing page.

Create a Free Preview of your course to generate leads.

Add a discussion component to your course.

Customize your site notifications

Customize the emails students will receive when they sign up for your course.

Got all of this covered? Huzzah! You're ready to publish your course! Go to the Publish section of your course, and hit the Publish button.
