Your Course Player is where your students will spend the most time, enjoying your lessons and discussing them with other students. The Course Player is the course-taking environment - the part of your site where your students can go to watch your videos, take your quizzes, and more. You’ll certainly want to brand and take advantage of some great features in the Thinkific Course Player!

Course Player Color and Font
You can set the theme, brand color, and font for your course player in the Player Settings section.
To open this from the Admin Dashboard:
- Select Products
- Select Courses
- Click Player Settings in the top right corner
- This will open the Learning content tab of your Settings:
The Primary color of the Course Player will change the color of the menu, and other accents in the Course Player. You can also change the Font of the text displayed in your Course Player.
Once you have made these changes, hit Save.
Updating the Course Player primary color will also update the color scheme in the Thinkific mobile app for your school. See: Style and Logo Settings for Your Mobile App.
Course Player Theme
The Course Player Theme controls the contrast of the UI for the Course Player. There are two options: 'Light theme' or 'Dark theme'. This option can be set for either as a default for the player or for each individual course.
To select a default Course Player theme:
From the Admin Dashboard, select Products
Select Courses
Select Player Settings
Select Light theme or Dark theme and then select Save
To select a Course Player theme for an individual course:
From the Admin Dashboard, select Products
Select Courses
Select the course you would like to customize
Go to Settings tab in the Course Builder
Select Course player appearance
Select Light theme or Dark theme and then select Save settings
Once you have selected a Course Player theme, you can preview how it will appear to your students by selecting Preview Course.
Adding a Logo
You can also upload a logo to appear on your course navigation, to help maintain your branding even within the Course Player. If uploaded, your logo will appear in the top of the Course Player. For best results, we recommend uploading a PNG or JPG file under 250kb.
Updating the Course Player logo will also update the logo displayed in the Thinkific mobile app for your school. See: Style and Logo Settings for Your Mobile App.
