You can enroll existing students or create a new student and manually enroll them into a course, bundle or community!

If you would like to create a new student and give them access to paid or private course or bundle, you can create and enroll them in one action!
- From your Admin Dashboard, select Users
- Select All Users
- Click + New User on the top right
- Fill out First name, Last name, Email address
- Don't worry about filling out External source and Company. External source is a field that is automatically filled out with some integrations like Infusionsoft and Company is a deprecated field. We recommend using Custom Fields if needed instead.
- Fill out any Custom Fields if needed
- Under Password, select User chooses their own password or Manually set user password. If you select User chooses their own password, make sure to enable Send site welcome email in the next step.
- Optional: Under Notifications, enable Send site welcome email. Your Site Welcome Email will prompt a new user to create their own password. We recommend leaving this on if you selected User chooses their own password in step 7.
- Under Enroll user in in the Enrollments section, search or select your desired product
- Optional: Set an Expiry date if you want the student to lose access on a specific date
- Click Enroll
- Repeat steps 9 through 11 for any additional courses or bundles
Steps 13 to 14 are optional and will be available based on your current Thinkific plan. Click the feature linked in each step to learn more!
- Optional: Under Groups, add user to one or more Groups
- Optional: Under User roles, assign a user to a role. If no role is selected, they will have a student account
- Click Save on the top right. You can click Save & Add Another if you need to create multiple new accounts!
Manually Enroll an Existing Student
If you have an existing student, you can also manually enroll them into a course, a bundle, or a community!
- From your Admin Dashboard, select Users
- Select All Users
- Search or scroll to locate your desired student
- Click the Full name of the student
- Under Enroll user in in the Enrollments tab, search or select your desired course, community or bundle. You can select multiple products from the list as needed.
- Select Add Learning Products
- Optional: Set an Expiry date if you want the student to lose access on a specific date
- Click Enroll
Important Considerations
- Currently, it is not possible to manually grant access to Digital Downloads and Coaching & Webinars. Click on each link to learn how to manually share the access link.
- Once enrolled, your student will have access to your product as soon as they log in and will receive a corresponding product Welcome Email if you have it enabled for the product they were manually enrolled in
- A product must be published before you can enroll students; courses, bundles, memberships, or communities that are set as drafts will not appear in the list of available products for enrollment.
- An enrollment duration is not automatically applied to manual enrollments. If you need to set the enrollment duration, you can do it by manually adding the expiry date when enrolling the student or by editing an enrollment duration by following these steps: How to Edit an Expiry Date.
