Question
- How can I see who is in my community?
- How can I filter users who are part of my community?
- Where is a list of community members?
Solution
If you want to see who is in your community, there are two main ways to do that.
Community Members Page
The easiest way to view everyone who is enrolled in your community is to do it through the Members page. When viewing your community, you'll find the Members page on the left-hand side of your Community navigation menu. From this page, you will be able to view the full list of the current members of your Community, as well as their profile picture, and their role within the Community (either Moderator or Student).
See more on that here: Manage Your Community
Filter for Members from your Users Page
If your community access settings are set to
- Students that purchase this community, or
- Students in selected courses or bundles, or
- Students in selected groups
You can apply User Filters to see the list of students who purchased your community. You can also use these filters to see the list of students who are enrolled in corresponding courses, bundles, or groups. Enrollment in these courses, bundles, or groups will also provide a list of your community members as defined by your community access settings.
Access Setting: Students who purchase this community
- In your Users table (Support Your Students > Users), select Filters.
- Among available options, select the Has Purchased filter.
- Choose your community
This filter will only list learners who purchased the community using the Thinkific built-in checkout. The filter will not show learners that were enrolled manually.
Access Setting: Students in selected courses or bundles
- In your Users table (Support Your Students > Users), select Filters.
- Among available options, select the Enrolled in filter.
- Choose a bundle or a course that corresponds to the one in the community access setting.
Access Setting: Students in selected groups
- In your Users table (Support Your Students > Users), select Filters.
- Among available options, select the Group name filter.
- Select the is operator.
- Choose a group that corresponds to the one in the community access setting.
Important Considerations
- Currently, it is not possible to filter by community enrollment.
