- My course has on-lesson discussions enabled, will the posts carry over when I duplicate it?
- Can discussion replies be duplicated as well if I duplicate the course?
Solution
When a course with on-lesson discussions enabled is duplicated, the same lessons will have discussions enabled on the duplicated course, though at this time, the posts and replies on these lessons will not be carried over. Discussion posts are specific to each course, and as the duplicated course is a new course, it will have its own set of discussion posts.
However, if you are looking for a place for students across multiple different courses to interact with each other, you could create a Community! Each Community has a dedicated page (on your Thinkific site) where students and instructors can interact through written posts and comments.
