Solution
If your course is free, there wouldn't be an affiliate commission for the free course. However, if the student signed up on your site through an affiliate link, they will still be associated with that affiliate.
This means if that student goes on to purchase a paid course, the sale would also be attributed to the affiliate. The affiliate will get credit for future sales even if they start with a free course.

- Our affiliate feature is designed for tracking purposes only. You can view the amount owed to each affiliate and have full control over approved payments, payout policies and schedules. The payouts themselves must be performed outside of Thinkific.
- Also good to note that our affiliate feature will only apply to purchases made through our built in e-commerce integrations.
