If you are looking at using our Free Preview feature, we don't recommend applying a Drip Schedule to any lessons that you would like to have in your Free Preview. The reason for this is that the Drip Schedule will always be in effect. This means that if a student enrolls into your Free Preview, they still won't be able to access the Free Preview lessons until the defined Drip Schedule.
If you have a course with a Drip Schedule and would like to provide some lessons for free, we have a couple options!
Remove the Drip Schedule for your Free Lessons
If you are setting your Drip Schedule by student enrollment date, you can input "0" on the Days after enrollment field for all of your Free Preview lessons. This way, when students enroll into the Free Preview for this course, they can automatically access the Free Preview lessons.
If you are using a calendar date Drip Schedule, you will just want to make sure that the date is not in the future (ie. it will need to be today's date or back-dated).
One important thing to note is that this Drip Schedule will apply to all students enrolled in the course, regardless if they enroll into your full course or Free Preview. So even students enrolling in your full course will have access to these particular lessons right away. If that is not what you are looking for, check out our alternate option below!
Create a Free Mini-Course Instead of Using Free Preview
Another way to set this up is to not use our Free Preview feature. Instead, you can create a mini-course that includes the lessons you want to provide for free. You can simply create a new course and copy lessons from your original course to this mini-course. You can then add a Text Lesson at the end of the course which has the link to the checkout page of the full paid course to encourage students to sign up for the full course!
