About This Feature

Upload all of your course's video, audio, and PDF lessons using a simple drag and drop - with the Content Uploader!

With the Content Uploader, you can quickly edit all of your lesson and chapter names, as well as rearranging the order they are displayed within your course. If you've already created course material elsewhere that you want to pull into your new course, you can use the Content Uploader to transfer material over.

How It Works

The Content Uploader is available at a per course level, which means you can simply navigate to the course you are working on, and upload all of your video, audio, and PDF content for that specific course at one time.

When uploading files using the Content Uploader, a single lesson will be created for each file you upload. The lesson will automatically take the name of the file that has been uploaded within it - but you can always change the lesson name later.

How to Use the Content Uploader

You can upload a maximum of 50 files at a time. To ensure that your files are uploaded successfully, we recommend keeping file names shorter without any special characters.

  1. Go to Products
  2. Select Courses
  3. Click on the name of the course you want to edit
  4. Under the "Course" tab, click the Content button
  5. Click Add Chapter (if you do not have a chapter created yet)
  6. Click the Upload content button under the chapter you would like to upload content to
  7. Drag and drop your video, audio and PDF content, or click Select files to locate them on your computer
  8. And that's it! Your content will start uploading right away!

Frequently Asked Questions

What about other file types?

The main file formats that can be uploaded using the Content Uploader are video, audio, and PDF. If you are looking to add a file format that cannot be uploaded using the Content Uploader, check out the other lesson types you can create from the Curriculum tab

Can I edit during upload?

Files must be uploaded before they can be edited, however, you can edit files that have finished uploading while other files are still in the process of uploading. Individual files that have finished uploading can be renamed as well as moved between chapters and lessons.

Make sure not to exit the Content Uploader screen while your files are being uploaded. Doing this may cancel your upload. If you'd like to continue working on other parts of your course while uploading, we recommend opening up a new tab in your browser to work in while your upload completes.
