Your Learning Paths and Resource Library can live right inside the Learner Hub, so your learners can reach them in the same navigation they already use, without ever leaving the Hub. You do this by utilizing built-in Learner Hub features, such as widgets or by creating a custom page and embedding the app with the Web page widget. This article walks you through each step.

Use the Resource Library with the Learner Hub
Step 1: Confirm the Learner Hub is Enabled
The Learner Hub must be enabled on your site before you can create custom pages. If you are not sure whether it is enabled, we recommend reaching out to your Customer Success Manager.
Step 2: Create a Custom Page
- From your Admin Dashboard, select Learner Hub.
- Select Customize learner hub.
- Select Navigation.
- Select Add custom page.
- Enter a label for the page - this is what learners see in the navigation menu.
- Select Learner hub page.
- Click Save.
Step 3: Add the Web Page Widget
- From your Admin Dashboard, select Learner Hub.
- Select Customize learner hub.
- Select Navigation.
- Find the custom page you created.
- Click the three ellipses (three dots).
- Select Edit page.
- Select Edit layout.
- Drag and drop the Web page widget onto the page.
- Click Publish changes.
Step 4: Select the App Page
- In the Web page widget, select the Thinkific page where your Resource Library is located.
- Select Fetch.
The app will now display as an embedded page within the Learner Hub for all logged-in learners.
Use Learning Paths with the Learner Hub
If you already use the Learning Paths feature that was built using the Site Builder, you will need to recreate learning paths for the best student experience. Embedding Learning Paths using the custom pages might not work as expected. Your existing bundle pages can continue to serve as marketing and enrollment pages for your learners.
Step 1: Confirm the Learner Hub is Enabled
The Learner Hub must be enabled on your site before you can create custom pages. If you are not sure whether it is enabled, we recommend reaching out to your Customer Success Manager.
Step 2: Set Up Learning Paths with the Learner Hub
Follow these instructions to set up Learning Paths: Learning Paths in the Learner Hub.
Important Considerations
- The Web page widget uses an iframe to display content. Some apps or pages may block iframe embedding and will not display correctly in the Learner Hub. If the app does not load, check whether the app's page supports embedding.
- Custom pages are visible to all logged-in learners on your site. There is currently no way to show a custom page to specific learners only.
- When you first create a custom page, it is hidden from learners by default. After building the page, you will need to unhide it to make it visible. See How to Customize Your Learner Hub.
