How Digital Wallets Work
To use a digital wallet, learners will need to first set up an account with a provider. They will then add their payment information to the account, and link it to their device. When checking out, they can select to pay with a digital wallet, and can then select their preferred provider and complete the transaction.
You will be able to see which digital wallet a learner used to purchase your product through the Orders Table or Transactions Table. When a learner purchases using their digital wallet, you will receive the transaction amount in your bank account via Thinkific Payments, just like credit card transactions.

To issue a refund for purchases made using digital wallets, you can use the Thinkific dashboard and follow the same process as you would for a standard credit card transaction processed by Thinkific Payments. There is no transaction fee to refund a purchase, but the transaction fees from the original purchase are not refunded.
If you need to refund a purchase made with CashApp, you can issue a full or partial refund for up to 7 years after the original purchase. CashApp will process the refunds asynchronously and refund the original payment method (either the customer’s Cash App balance or linked debit card) once you initiate the refund.
