When you first create a Thinkific site, it will be given a thinkific.com URL, formatted as follows: yoursite.thinkific.com. Everything that appears before .thinkific.com can be customized as desired! You can also change the site name that appears in your site header.

Important Considerations
- If you change your site URL, the previous version of the site URL will no longer link to your site. You may wish to inform site visitors of this change, to ensure they can still access your site.
- If you are using the branded mobile app, changing your site URL may result in learners being unable to log in to your app. To prevent this, we recommend contacting us before changing your site URL.
How to Update Your Site URL
- From your Admin Dashboard, select Settings
- Select Site URL on the left
- Click the ellipses and select Edit URL
- Input your desired name to appear before .thinkific.com
- Click Save
- Click Confirm
How to Update Your Site Name
- From your Admin Dashboard, select Settings
- Select Site details on the left
- Input your desired name in the Site name field
- Click Save
This site name will appear in various areas of your site, including:
- Your site header until you upload a logo
- In your default email notifications
