In-App Purchases
This feature is exclusive to creators using Branded apps.
Take your audience’s learning journey to new heights! Your users can now expand their skills by purchasing new courses directly within your mobile app. With Apple and Google Play’s in-app purchase systems, they can easily tap, purchase and get access to new courses.
Simply set up course IDs within your Thinkific account and copy those directly into Apple or Google, set your price and your course is ready to sell!
Revenue from in-app purchases will be deposited directly into your bank accounts from the app stores. You can also see all purchases made from within your branded app, by going to the Orders tab of your Thinkific site.
This feature is exclusive to creators using Branded apps. Depending on your business model, in-app purchases will be required for your app to be approved in the app stores. For creators who do not require this feature for their app to be approved, it is entirely optional. If you’re interested in setting this up for your mobile app, reach out to your CSM and they will be happy to connect you with a member of the Thinkific mobile team.

Get ready! We’ve got some amazing new features lined up on the mobile app.
- Search: Students can now search for courses, making it easier than ever to find the specific content they are looking for.
- Categories: Students can filter by one or multiple categories, to help narrow down their search for courses.
- Multiple Languages: Spanish, German, and Swedish language support has been added to the mobile app, meaning studentsh with languages in those locales will see those languages automatically.
- Improved bottom navigation: The app navigation and architecture have been improved, and communities made more prominent and useful.

Bug fixes & Other Improvements: As always, we’ve been hard at work fixing bugs and enhancing your user experience.
- Empty state improvement: more informative empty if a user is not enrolled in any products.
- French translations improved

- In App purchase improvements: add a product, refunds, and search for courses: You can now add products for sale for in-app purchases using the product IDs in the Mobile settings section of your Thinkific site. Additionally, refunds are now supported via the App Store and the Play store, making it easier to manage student enrollments and cancellations. Automatic branded app updates: When new app versions are created, they will automatically be submitted for review and pushed live to your app store listings on your behalf - saving you time and getting the latest and greatest app version in your audience’s hands faster than ever.

Bug fixes & Other Improvements: As always, we’ve been hard at work fixing bugs and enhancing your user experience.
- Video lesson support: Videos in landscape mode and full screen now work as expected. Additionally, videos will now play on more Android devices.
- Course prerequisite progress: Prerequsite lessons now count towards your progress and will automatically update the course completion progress bar.
- Additional upload formats are now supported in Communities: Users on Android devices can now upload more image types to their mobile communities.
