How to Customize Site Landing Page Text
- Go to Settings
- On the Site tab, click Modify text: Site in the left menu
- Select General or Product Pages
- Click Customize on the default text you want to edit
- Input your desired text
- Click Save
Note: if you customize your default site text using this feature, please note that the text will not translate by default if you've enabled the option for users to set their own site language.
Site Landing Page Customization Options
There are two categories of text snippets that you can customize:
General
These snippets are used in a variety of places across your Thinkific site pages.

The highlighted text that appears on the course cards for Pre-order courses - 32 character limit.

The button text that displays on the default thank you page for a user to begin the course.

Product Pages
These snippets are only used on your product (course, bundle, membership, community) landing pages.

The button text that appears on your course landing pages for courses that have a free preview. This label can appear on a Banner (course) section or in the Curriculum section. |

Enroll for free |
The default button text that appears for free product on product landing page banners that a user has not purchased or enrolled in. |
|
Join for free |
The default button text that appears for free community on community landing page banners that a user has not purchased or has no access to.

The default button text that appears on product landing page banners that a user has not purchased or enrolled in. Variable: {{price}} |
|
Purchase |
The default button text that appears on product landing page banners that have multiple pricing options available. |
|
Resume course |
The default button text that appears on course landing page banners that a user has already purchased or is enrolled in. |
|
Resume bundle |
The default button text that appears on bundle and membership landing page banners that a user has already purchased or is enrolled in. |

Open community |
The default button text that appears on community landing page banners that a user has already purchased or has access to. |
