Students have the option to speed up or slow down the playback speed of your video lessons!
What are video playback speeds?
Playback speeds allow students to set the speed at which the video is played at. This is great, since it allows students to either slow down or speed up your content based on their learning style.
By default, all video playback speeds are set at 1x. When watching a video within a lesson, students will have the ability to set the playback speed using the video player options. They will be able to select one of the following playback speeds:
- .05x
- .075x
- 1x
- 1.25x
- 1.50x
- 1.75x
- 2x
A student can change this playback preference at any time by accessing the gear icon on the bottom right of the video playbar.
Once they set a playback speed within one of your course videos, this will be their new default playback speed and will automatically be set within the next videos that they watch.
When a student changes their playback speed, this will only be saved as the new playback speed for video lessons. Videos embedded in text lessons or quizzes will always play at 1x by default and can be manually adjusted by the student.
