If you're looking to sell your Thinkific courses on Shopify, this article covers the features that are not currently supported by the Thinkific Shopify App.
The Thinkific Shopify App allows you to easily sell individual Thinkific courses on Shopify for a one-time payment, or for free.
As all payments for these courses occur in Shopify, all order tracking happens in Shopify. Any payment-related features — like coupons and affiliates — are not available in Thinkific, although Shopify offers many of its own tools!
Check out the breakdown of features below that are not currently supported by the Thinkific Shopify App.

Note that the following also applies to Shopify Lite; you can use the Thinkific Shopify App with Shopify Lite.
Thinkific features not currently supported by the Thinkific Shopify App:
|Number of accounts||
You can only have one Shopify store per Thinkific account.
If you are a Shopify customer using Thinkific, you can only have one Thinkific account for each of your Shopify stores. You cannot link the same Thinkific account to more than one Shopify store.
A Thinkific Bundle allows you to sell multiple courses as a single package. You cannot currently sell Bundles through the Shopify checkout however, you can sell Bundles using the built-in Thinkific checkout.
If you prefer to use your Shopify checkout, another option is to add multiple courses to a Shopify cart!
A Membership is a curated package of products offered as "members-only" for your users.
You cannot currently sell Memberships through the Shopify checkout however, you can sell Memberships using the built-in Thinkific checkout.
Students purchasing a community is not currently supported. If you would like to give students access to a community, we recommend using the access setting Students in selected courses or bundles when creating your community and selling the associated course through Shopify.
|Payment plans & subscriptions||Only one-time payments are currently supported.|
|Memberships||Only one-time payments are currently supported.|
|Automatic enrollment expiry dates||As all pricing is currently set in Shopify, expiry dates can’t currently be set upon enrollment. You can still set expiry dates manually.|
|Automatically adding users to Groups||
Our Groups feature allows you to easily organize students by cohort to help with reporting and filtering. As enrollments are handled differently for Shopify, students can’t currently be added to Groups automatically.
|Payment & order tracking||
When using the Shopify checkout, all payment tracking for Shopify orders is done within Shopify. Orders are not tracked in Thinkific.
This means you will not see any details in your Thinkific Orders Report and students will not have a record of their order within their Thinkific account page as this only applies when using our built-in Thinkific checkout.
You will still be able to see all student enrollment data in your Thinkific account.
|Coupons, affiliates, payees||Shopify is a separate sales channel with its own tools to help with this! Make sure to visit the Shopify Help Center.|
|Custom Signup fields||As enrollments are handled differently for Shopify, Thinkific custom signup fields are not applicable for students purchasing through the Shopify checkout. However, students will have the option to fill out these fields after their account is created on their My Account page.|
|Bulk Purchases||Our app does not currently support bulk purchases as a unique email address is required for each student who enrolls in your course. This means if an individual purchased multiple seats, they would still only have one enrollment in the course associated with their email.
