URL formats vary by product type and, for courses, by which type of landing page you are using. For a reference of all URL formats, see the end of this article.
If you are using AI landing pages:

From the Admin Dashboard, go to Products

Select Courses

Click on a specific course.

Go to the Landing Page tab.

Copy the course landing page URL by clicking on the icon next to the URL.
If you are using classic product pages:

From the Admin Dashboard, go to Products

Select the Settings tab.

Under Course URL, you will see your current URL.

Under Bundle URL, enter your desired URL.

Select Save.
Once you update a URL, the previous URL will no longer be active. We recommend updating your URL before sharing links externally. See: I changed my course URL, how do I direct students to the new URL?

Landing page URLs are case sensitive.
-
URLs cannot contain special characters ( _ : . + & / ) — only hyphens ( - ) are supported.

Before sharing your URL, test it in a private browser window to ensure everything is working as expected.

Once you update a URL, the previous URL will no longer be active. See: I changed my course URL, how do I direct students to the new URL?
A course landing page URL depends on which type of course page you are using.
If you are using AI landing pages:

If you are using classic product pages:
mysite.thinkific.com/courses/product-name
If you have a custom domain:
www.mysite.com/products/courses/product-name or www.mysite.com/courses/product-name
mysite.thinkific.com/product-type/product-name

Your product landing page will have a default URL when you first create your product, based on the product name. The product-name portion of the URL can be customized — note that you cannot customize the full URL structure (for example, you cannot remove /courses/).
