Site Page Templates

The SPT sections can be added to any Site Builder page. To use the STP sections, you must add the Site Page Templates section.

1. From your Admin Dashboard, select Channels
2. Select Website
3. Find the page you want to add the new sections to or create a new page by following the instructions here: Custom Pages.
4. Open the page you selected
5. Select +Add section
6. Search for and select the Site Page Templates section
7. Open the newly added section and edit the section settings. Note that the settings you define here will apply to all SPT sections you add in step 2.
8. Click Save

The Site Pages Templates section must appear before any other sections on the page. If necessary, move the section to the top of the list by clicking on 8 dots on the left side of the section.

Now that you have added the required section, you can add as many individual SPT sections!

1. From your Admin Dashboard, select Channels

3. Find the page you want to add the new sections to or create a new page by following the instructions here: Custom Pages.
4. Open the page you selected
5. Select +Add section
6. Search for the specific section you want to add. Search using the specific section name or using a collection name (see the list below). Each collection will be grouped together with the collection name at the top.

   

7. Open the section settings and edit them
8. Click Save
9. Repeat steps 5-8 for any other sections you want to add

The Master Courses SPT collection is unique as it allows you to create a Masterclass-like page. The sections within this collection are meant to work together to create a cohesive look and style. The collection includes: 

• Course Banner - Serves as the prominent header for your course page, creating an impactful first impression.​
• Key Elements - Highlights the essential components of your course and provides a concise overview to potential students.
• Centered Checklists - Presents important course benefits or learning outcomes in a visually appealing list format.​
• Enhanced Lesson List - Provides a structured overview of your course curriculum, making it easier for learners to navigate course content.​
• Image Cards - Displays key course content or instructor details through visual elements.​
• Meet the Instructors - Showcases the expertise of course creators to build credibility with potential students.​
• Testimonials - Showcases feedback from past students or industry experts.​
• Pricing - Provides clear and structured pricing options for course enrollment.​
• Grouped FAQs - Organizes frequently asked questions into categories to address common inquiries efficiently.​
• Other Instructors - Highlights additional instructors involved in the course.
• Mockup Sections - Displays realistic previews of course content, giving students a glimpse of the learning experience.​
• Share Popup - Encourages users to share the course on social media or via email.
• Preview Popup - Allows potential students to preview course content before enrolling.
• Trailer Popup - Features a course trailer video in a popup format, providing an engaging introduction to the course.​
• Progress Trackers - Displays student progress in percentage or steps to motivate learners to complete the course.​
• Call-to-Action Banners - Encourages enrollments with prominent banners prompting users 

General setup instructions:

1. On the page you want to add the sections to, select +Add Section
2. Search for Master Classes
3. Select the section you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (image cards, checklists, etc.)
5. Click Save

The FAQ SPT collection contains different customizable FAQ sections that will help you bust any objections and confusion so that you can increase your sales. The collection includes: 

• FAQs (01) - Showcases media on a side of FAQs
• FAQs (02) - Shows FAQs in two columns
• FAQs (03) - Shows FAQs in a tabbed format, allowing students to switch between different tabs with questions
• FAQs (04) - Shows each FAQ as a separate box that can be expanded

General setup instructions:

1. On the page you want to add the sections to, select +Add Section
2. Search for FAQs SPT Collection
3. Select the section you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (FAQ content, etc.)
5. Click Save

Icons SPT Collection can be used to communicate key benefits and features in an easy and digestible way.

The collection includes seven different sections that allow you to use icons across your site to ensure information is summarized and communicated effectively. These icon cards are fully customizable to your site’s layout and branding. 

General setup instructions:

1. On the page you want to add the sections to, select +Add Section
2. Search for Icons SPT Collection
3. Select the section you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (image, display style, etc.)
5. Click Save

Image Cards SPT Collection can be used to create interactive, linked image sections. These sections can be used to showcase course elements such as lessons or bonuses. 

The collection includes 13 different sections, each with a different layout and functions. This allows you to select the one that fits your needs the most.

3. Select the section you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (image, etc.)
5. Click Save

Logos SPT Collection displays a collection of company or brand logos in rows or grids. The Logos collection is designed to enhance your site by showcasing logos of media outlets, customers, or partners you've collaborated with. Using Logos allows you to build credibility and trust with your audience. 

The collection includes three different sections, each with a different layout.

3. Select the section you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (Logo image, etc.)
5. Click Save

Pricing SPT Collection includes pre-designed pricing tables for products, membership tiers, or service plans. This collection offers versatile pricing sections designed to accommodate both simple and complex pricing strategies on your site. These sections can be integrated seamlessly on your sales pages, engaging potential buyers.

The collection includes four different sections, each with a different pricing presentation style.

2. Search for Pricing SPT Collection
3. Select the section you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (links to the price, etc.)
5. Click Save

Perhaps the most versatile, Text and Mega Media Collection includes sections that allow you to create mixed-media content. These sections allow you to seamlessly integrate various media types - such as images, videos, custom embeds, and looping MP4s - alongside your text content.

The collection includes two different sections, each with a different pricing presentation style.

3. Select the section you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (content, etc.)
5. Click Save

Testimonials SPT Collection includes sections that allow you to display student or customer testimonials dynamically. These sections offer a variety of customizable sections designed to showcase customer testimonials and help you build trust with potential clients.

The collection includes ten different sections, each with a different presentation style

2. Search for Testimonials SPT
3. Select the section you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (testimonials, images, etc.)
5. Click Save

Popup SPT Collection includes sections that engage users with modal popups triggered by actions or timers. ​This collection offers versatile popup sections designed to enhance user engagement. These popups can be triggered by various user actions, such as button clicks, time delays, scrolling, or exit intent, making them effective for announcements, CTAs, or user interactions.

The collection includes eight different sections, each with a different popup function and presentation.

General setup instructions:

1. On the page you want to add the sections to, select +Add Section
2. Search for Popup SPT Collection
3. Select the section you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (popup content, etc.)
5. Click Save

You can also trigger a popup when a button in another SPT section is clicked. To do that:

1. On the page you want to add the sections to, select +Add Section
2. Search for Popups SPT Collection
3. Select the popup you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (popup content, etc.)
5. Give your popup an ID - this ID must be unique on the page (i.e. be the only popup with the same ID)
6. Click Save
7. Go to another SPT section where you want to use the popup, e.g. Banner Section
8. Find the Button section group (note: the exact name might be slightly different, depending on the section)
9. In the Popup ID field, add the ID you created in step 5
10. Click Save

The Buttons SPT Collection gives you a set of new button styles that command attention and give your site an enhanced appeal. You can use this collection with other Site Page Templates sections or optionally replace default primary and secondary buttons styles on specific pages.

The collection includes eight button styles.

You can use button styles with other SPT sections:

1. On the page you want to add the sections to, select +Add Section
2. Search for Buttons SPT
3. Select the button you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (colour, etc.)
5. Give your button a Custom ID - this ID must be unique on the page (i.e. be the only button style with the same ID)
6. Click Save
7. Go to another SPT section where you want to use the button, e.g. Banner Section
8. Find the Button section group (note: the exact name might be slightly different, depending on the section)
9. In the SPT Button ID field, add the ID you created in step 5
10. Click Save

Note that the same button style can be used in multiple sections on the same page. For example, you want to use a border glow button style. You would add the Border Glow Button section and give it a custom ID Glow, ensuring that no other button on the page has the same ID. Then, you can use that Glow ID in all of your sections on the page.

To replace button styles in default Thinkific sections:

1. On the page you want to add the sections to, select +Add Section
2. Search for Buttons SPT
3. Select the button you want to add
4. Customize each setting, as desired (colour, etc.)
5. Give your button a Custom ID - to assign this style to all primary default buttons, use the ID Primary. To assign this style to all secondary default buttons, use the ID Secondary.

Yes, all sections adjust dynamically to different screen sizes.

Yes, as with other Site Builder pages and sections, you can edit Site Page Templates sections even after the page is published.
