Learner Goals lets each learner set a personal goal right on their Learner Hub home page — choosing from AI-generated suggestions based on their own course enrollments, or writing their own — so they have something concrete to work toward every time they log in.

- Learners get personalized, AI-generated goal suggestions based on their own current course enrollments, or can write a fully custom goal instead.
- Once a learner sets a goal, they can mark it complete at any time and immediately set a new one.
- As an admin, you get a lightweight view of engagement: a count of learners with an active goal and a count with a completed goal.
- You control the rollout: the Learner Goals widget is available on the Learner Hub, but learners don't see it until you add it to the page and opt in.
How Learner Goals Works
The Learner Goals widget is available as a widget option on the Learner Hub. You can add it to the Learner Hub Home page and opt in ("Enable learning goals") to make it visible to your learners. Once visible, a learner opens the widget and either chooses one of their AI-generated goal suggestions — personalized from their own current course enrollments — or writes a custom goal of their own. After setting a goal, a learner can mark it complete at any time, which shows a short celebration, and then set their next goal right away. Site admins see a running count of how many learners currently have an active goal and how many have completed one, plus a link to request more detailed data.

Important Considerations
- The Learner Goals widget is available on the Learner Hub only.
- Learners only see the Goals widget once both conditions are met: the admin has opted in ("Enable learning goals") AND the Learner Hub itself is published
- A learner can have only one current goal at a time. Completing a goal lets them set a new one immediately, but the previous goal isn't retained as a visible history.
- As an admin, you can see the total count of learners who have set the goal and the percentage of goals that were completed. Additional reporting is not available at the moment.
