Looking to integrate with a 3rd party app that requires your API key? You can copy your API key from your site settings!
What is an API?
In computer programming, an Application Programming Interface (API) is a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications. You can use an API to access databases or help to integrate and enhance the functionalities of an application.
You'll often need to access your API key when integrating with 3rd party applications.
How to Copy Your API Key
Never share your API key publicly. Your API key is a secret key that can give 3rd parties access to your site data.
- Go to Settings
- Select the Code & Analytics tab
- Select API from the menu on the left
- Click to Reveal your API Key
- Here you can highlight and copy your unique API key:
Important Considerations
Note that you will also see an option to reset your API key here. We do not recommend resetting your API key unless absolutely necessary as it may break the connection for some of your integrations.
