Question
- If I set my course price to free, have the student enroll, and then set a price, will it interrupt the learning experience?
- Can I change the price of a live course?
- If I start charging for the course now, will the people who have already registered for it be required to pay?
Solution
If your course is currently free and you add a price later, it will not affect existing students. Students who enrolled for free will still have access to the course and their progress will not be affected.
Once you set a price for the course, new students will be required to pay to access your content.
This also applies to course price changes in general. Any change to your course pricing will only affect students who sign up after you have made the price change. In other words, new students will be required to pay the new price.
