- Is it possible to create course-specific terms of service?
- All of my courses have different terms and policies, how do I set this up so students can consent to each one?
Solution
At this time, the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy are applied site-wide, and we do not currently have a way to create separate terms for each course.
In the meantime, for each course with its own terms, you could create a Quiz Lesson or a Survey Lesson at the very beginning of the course, which would include the terms and ask if student if they consent. You could also make this lesson a prerequisite to ensure that they complete it.
In addition, you could also include your individual terms in your site-wide Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (under Settings, Order & accounts, Sign in/Sign up settings in the Admin Dashboard) so students can agree to all of your terms upon creating an account on your site.
