Does Thinkific support Base64?
Solution
Base64 is a method for encoding data commonly used for images online. We do not support Base64 images as it can cause your Course Player and Course Builder to break. We also don't recommend them for a few reasons:
- Browsers tend to slow down when images are inserted as Base64 because they have to process very large chunks of HTML
- When you save the content, you'll pass a lot of data to your server and that would result in an unwanted overload
