Annotations are unique to YouTube. They can drive viewers to more content, increase community actions on your videos, and attract new subscribers.
How to Do it
Add relevant and helpful annotations to all your videos after upload. Use annotations on archive videos to direct traffic to new initiatives or content¹.
Where do you start?
Sign into Google Webmaster tools and add the Thinkific site that you would like to verify.
Next, click verify this site. On the following screen, you will select Alternate methods and then HTML tag.
Copy ONLY the value of the tag - outlined in green in the image above. Then, paste it into the associated section in your Admin Dashboard under Settings Code & Analytics Google Site Verification Meta Tag:
Finally, return to the Google Webmaster's Tools page and click Verify.
If you have already integrated with Google Analytics all you have to do now is click Verify. If you haven't, follow the instructions in the above link.
