So you’ve created the course of your dreams with Thinkific, and set the perfect price point. However, you’d like to give access your course to a friend, or an affiliate partner, free of charge. No problem!
There are 2 ways you can provide free access to your paid course:
- Manually enroll the student
- Provide the student with a 100% off coupon
Manual Enrollments
You can manually create a user and enroll them into your paid course! We have detailed instructions on how to do that here: Manually Enroll Students into a Course

Coupons
If you prefer to allow the student to enroll on their own, you can provide them with an 100% coupon code to your course! When you provide a 100% coupon, the student will not be required to input their credit card information. Learn how to create coupons here: Create Coupons
Not currently on a paid plan and looking to provide free access? If you are just testing out your site and don't require a paid plan just yet, you can temporarily set your course to free to allow your test student to enroll.
