How Free Lead Magnet Coaching and Webinars Work
Follow the steps outlined here to create your coaching or webinar products: Forge Connections and Drive Leads and Revenue with Coaching & Webinars.
A coaching or a webinar product can be turned into a free lead magnet to help you capture leads and collect visitors' emails. To create a Free Lead Magnet Coaching Session or a Free Lead Magnet Webinar select the corresponding option when setting the product price.
When the Free Lead Magnet option is selected, the system will automatically create an AI-generated landing page with a free lead magnet layout designed specifically to capture visitors' information. The landing page will not link to the checkout page. Instead, visitors will be asked for their contact information. Once the information is provided, students receive instructions on how to access their coaching session or a webinar and their information is added to the Leads Table.
You can always change the type of a coaching or a webinar product from free lead magnet to paid by changing its price. Note, however, that the landing page will be automatically adjusted and need to be reviewed.

A coaching or a webinar product will look and behave differently, depending on the pricing setting. See the key differences below:

Other features work the same way for both Free Lead Magnet and Paid Coaching and Webinars.
Visitor Experience
When your coaching or webinar product is published, your visitors can find your product landing page via a direct URL or by browsing your All Products (Collections) page. When visiting the page, students are encouraged to submit their contact information in exchange for access to the coaching session or the webinar. Students will NOT need to create an account, making it easy for visitors to submit information and receive access to the event.
Once students submit their name and email address, they will be redirected to the default thank you page. If they are purchasing a coaching session with a booking link provided, they will see the link on the checkout page.
Leads will receive an email notification with further instructions:
- a note notifying them that you will reach out to them to schedule a coaching session if the lead registers for a coaching session with no booking link provided
- a link to the booking page where they can schedule a coaching session if the lead registers for a coaching session with the booking link provided
- an access link to the webinar if the lead registers for a webinar
At the moment, the lead will not receive additional emails about their purchase or reminding them about the upcoming webinar events.
Visitors going through a Free Lead Magnet flow will NOT create a user account. Instead, they will be added to the Leads Table only.
Creator Experience
Free Lead Magnet Coaching & Webinar products will not appear in the Coupons table, Affiliates menu, or Revenue Share menu. You will not be able to add Free Lead Magnets to Bundles or Memberships.
Once a student signs up, they will show up in the Leads table and you will receive a new lead email notification (if enabled). Learn more here: Manage Your Leads.
You can monitor the performance of your lead magnets through the Thinkific Analytics: Leads Dashboard - this dashboard provides comprehensive visibility into top-of-funnel page views, lead capture and student conversion. This dashboard allows you to analyze and improve your lead generation and conversion efforts.
