How to Create a Spotify Profile
You can edit your profile up until you submit your first course to Spotify. Please ensure your profile is completed before submitting your course for review.
- Click on Spotify from your Thinkific Admin Dashboard
- Select the Profile tab

Required: Enter your Display Name
Your display name is the identifier that will be visible on Spotify, representing your school, academy, or your identity as the Creator or Instructor. It is a mandatory field for publishing any courses on Spotify. -
Highly Recommended: Write a Short Biography about yourself or your business
Incorporating a concise biography is instrumental in allowing learners to gain a deeper understanding of you. Whether it highlights your unique skills and special expertise or provides insights into your background, this bio is crucial in building trust with your audience. It aids potential learners in making informed decisions about whether to invest in your course content. (Recommended length: 50-150 words) -
Highly Recommended: Add an Avatar to your profile by uploading an image
Include an image that represents your school or yourself as a Creator. This can be your school logo, a picture or headshot of yourself, or even a digitally created avatar. We recommend you use something that aligns with your brand or online presence. -
Optional: Add any Spotify URLs to link to your Spotify content
Integrate your Thinkific course with your pre-existing content on Spotify by including links in your profile. These could include links to your owned podcasts, featured episodes, or available music on Spotify. - Click Save to save the changes made to your profile
Frequently Asked Questions
Why can’t I edit my profile after I submit my first course?
We are unable to support course or profile edits for the initial pilot once they are submitted unless it’s critical. Please contact our Support team if you require any major or critical changes to your profile or course. You may be asked to resubmit your profile or course for review but we can not guarantee changes to be made in time for launch.
