How It Works
We’ve designed the Thinkific Mobile App with your users in mind. Once you enable the app on your account, all your students need to do is download the app from Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices).
After downloading and installing the app, your audience can access their learning products, participate in communal learning interactions, and enjoy fast, easy, on-the-go access to materials they need.

Important Considerations
- The Thinkific Mobile App is designed to deliver amazing learning experiences to students and does not support administration. Site Owners and Admins (and users with other roles other than Student) will need to use the web version of Thinkific.
- The Thinkific Mobile App does not support in-app purchases, but your audience can access already purchased learning products using the app. In-app purchases are available on Branded Mobile apps: Maximize Your Brand Potential With the Branded Mobile App

Getting Started
It is easy to get started with the Thinkific Mobile App. All you need to do is to activate the app and share it with your students.
Activate the Thinkific Mobile App
It is to activate the Mobile on your site:
- From your Admin Dashboard, select Channels
- Select Mobile App
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Click Activate now
- Confirm your action by clicking Activate now
If you have already enabled the Mobile app before and want to reactivate it:
- From your Admin Dashboard, select Channels
- Select Mobile App
- Select the Thinkific App tab
- Toggle the Thinkific app status to Activated
And that's it! The Thinkific Mobile app is now enabled and ready to be shared with your audience.
Testing the app
Before sharing the app with your students, we recommend you download and try the app for yourself. Follow these steps to get started:
- Visit an app store using one of the following links:
- Download the Thinkific Mobile app on the Google Play Store

- Download the mobile app
- Search for your school, using your school name
These instructions can also be found under the Mobile App section of your Admin Dashboard.
Now, you can explore your learning products and see what your course or community looks like.
As a Site Owner or Site Admin, you might see draft courses and communities on your Home Screen. If you want to explore your site from a student perspective, you can create a test student account.
Share the Mobile App with Your Students

If you have enabled the Thinkific Mobile feature on your site, students can also search for your school manually after downloading the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. When your students open up the app, all they have to do is type in your school name. A results list will appear, and they can click the result, which opens up the school login page.

Mobile-Only Features
The Thinkific Mobile App offers some unique features that are available only on a mobile. These features include:
- Drip Lessons release notifications: Students can now receive notifications on their mobile app letting them know when previously locked lessons are available!
- Push notifications for community activity: draw students back in and keep engagement high with the new push notifications when new activity happens in communities students are enrolled in.

Course Features
Course features on the Thinkific Mobile App allow your students to access your courses, anytime, anywhere.
The app is considered an additive complement to the web experience. As such, we have prioritized providing end users with lesson types that will allow them to complete learning on the go, and access your content in the most convenient way for them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I create learning products or manage my site using the app?
No, the Thinkific Mobile App does not support school administration. Site Owners and Admins (and users with other roles other than Student) will need to use the web version of Thinkific.
Does the Thinkific Mobile app work everywhere or are there location limitations?
There are no regional access limitations. We are global, so the Thinkific Mobile app works everywhere Thinkific does.
What are the operating system requirements?

Can my students access content offline?
No, at the moment, the Thinkific Mobile App does not support the delivery of content offline. You can allow your students to download certain lesson content (videos, PDFs, audio) and they can view it directly on their devices.
