If you need to remove a student's access from your product at a specific date, you can edit their enrollment date.

How to Edit a Student's Expiry Date
You can edit each product expiry date individually, and editing a bundle or membership expiry date will update the student's expiry date for all the products included in that product.
- From your Admin Dashboard, go to Users
- Select All Users
- Locate your desired user and click on their Full name to view enrollment details
- Locate your desired product
- Click on Set a date under Expiry Date
- Select your desired date from the calendar menu
- Click Update in the confirmation prompt
If you are using Thinkific Payments and the expiry date is associated with a subscription or a payment plan, we do not recommend editing the expiry date on its own. Updating an expiry date on its own will not affect a student's billing date, i.e. students will be charged based on their original billing date. Instead, you can adjust the billing date, which will automatically adjust the expiry date: Thinkific Payments: Manage Student Payments.
How to Remove a Student's Expiry Date
If you want to completely remove a learner's expiry date to give them unlimited access, you can do so from their profile. To do this:

- Select All Users
- Locate your desired user and click on their Full name to view enrollment details
- Under the Enrollments tab, locate your desired product
- Select Edit next to the current date
- Select the X in the date field
- Click Update
You can also simply re-enroll them into your product to give unlimited access! This will clear the calendar date. To re-enroll a learner:
- From your Admin Dashboard, go to Users
- Select All Users
- Locate your desired user and click on their Full name to view enrollment details
- Under the Enroll in field, search or scroll to find the product
- Select the product
- Click Enroll
Important Considerations
- If you are using Thinkific Payments and the expiry date is associated with a subscription or a payment plan, we do not recommend editing the expiry date on its own. Updating an expiry date on its own will not affect a student's billing date, i.e. students will be charged based on their original billing date. Instead, you can adjust the billing date, which will automatically adjust the expiry date: Thinkific Payments: Manage Student Payments.
- If you are using Stripe, you will need to adjust both billing and expiry dates separately. To adjust the billing date in Stripe, see: Can I change a student's subscription billing date?
- An expiry date will need to be set to a date in the future in order for the student to have access to your product. If a student's enrollment date is adjusted to today's date or a date in the past, the student will lose access to your product. For example, if today's date is Jan 1st 2025 and the expiry date is Jan 1st 2025 or Dec 31st 2024, the student will no longer have access.
- If you want to edit or remove students' expiry dates in bulk, see this article for instructions and information on the scenarios where it is possible: Bulk Enroll and Unenroll Students.
