- Can I add math equations to text lessons or quizzes?
- Does Thinkific have an equation editor that I could use for quizzes?
- Is there a way to write math symbols and equations via Latex, or a similar program?
Solution
Our current text editor may not be not ideal for math equations and formulas, or for inserting MathML or Latex formulas, however, an option that you could explore would be to add complex equations as an image.
Using this method, you could take a screenshot of the equation and add it to your text lesson. Check out our article on how to work with images in your text lessons here: Responsive Images and Videos in Text Lessons
Another option would be to create a PDF Lesson instead. Adding your equations in to a PDF (for the PDF Lesson) would allow you to save any special formatting for equations or formulas.
