Common Customizations That Don't Require Code Edits in Site Builder
Before diving into customizing your theme code, there are a few common customizations that can now be done directly in Site Builder without the need to dig into code!
|Customization in Your Legacy Theme||How to Apply Customization in Site Builder|
|Hide a section||Every section on your site pages in Site Builder can not only be customized, but can be easily added, deleted or rearranged! If you'd like to hide a section, you'll simply need to delete it from your page.|
|Collapse course landing page curriculum||You can choose to have a collapsed or expanded course curriculum. A collapsed curriculum will only display chapter names by default. Visitors can click on a chapter name to reveal the lessons included within it. You can adjust this setting directly in Site Builder: How to Collapse or Expand Your Course Landing Page Curriculum.|
|Hide buy buttons on banners|
|Customize buy button text||
If you'd like to customize the text on your banner buy button, you can simply add a new button that links to your course checkout. This will override any default buy button in your banner. Learn more about buttons here.
|Customize a button link||
If you'd like to customize a link on any of your buttons, Site Builder has a ton of options from a course checkout to custom URL. Learn about your available options here.
|Customize various default landing page text||
Many of your landing pages will have default text like private course text, free preview text, course card text and more. Before getting into code edits, make sure to have a look through our available customizations here: Customize Default Site Text on Your Landing Pages.
