The currency of your site can be changed if you are integrated with Stripe, however depending on your the country you are located in, there may also be limitations in your available currencies.

Why do I only have one currency option?
If you see that there is only one currency listed in your Stripe integration settings or your desired currency is not available, this is due to Stripe's verification in the country you are located in. We have some instructions below you can use to double check if Stripe supports different currencies in your country.
Please note that any limitation in currencies is due to a specific Stripe feature that we use for our integration called Stripe Connect. Due to the nature of our Stripe integration, we are unable to provide additional currencies outside of your default.
Common Countries That Only Support One Currency
- Brazil - Brazil currently only supports Brazilian Real (BRL) currency
- India - India currently only supports Indian Rupee (INR) currency

How to Check If Your Country Supports Changing Currency
- Visit Stripe's documentation here: Required verification information
- Click on the dropdown menu to the right of Viewing requirements for:
- Locate your country on the list
- If your country is listed, different currencies will be available and you can see how to change your site currency here: Changing Your Currency
- If your course is not listed, the only currency available on your site will be your country's currency
Unfortunately if your country does not appear on this list, you will not be able to change your site currency. If you would like to request support for your country, we recommend reaching out to Stripe and submitting a feature request as Thinkific will only have available currencies for the countries included in the list above.
Why did Stripe tell me they support more currencies?
If you reach out to Stripe, they may tell you that they support more currencies. It is correct that Stripe supports more currencies, however in this case, the limitation is specifically with the Stripe feature that we use for our direct integration called Stripe Connect.
