We don't currently have a bulk selling feature with our built-in payment integrations, as each student requires an individual account to register for a course, however if you are looking to sell in bulk, we have a few other options!
Why sell courses in bulk?
Bulk selling is common if you are providing training courses for companies, institutions, universities, etc. where access to the course is being sold as a license. For example, they are looking for course access for 100 employees.
Since these licenses tend to be high-ticket items ($1,000+), and because companies usually prefer to have an invoice upfront for these kinds of payments, it's best to take payment for bulk licenses outside of Thinkific.
How to Accept Payment
If you plan on selling multiple seats for your course, there are a few ways to accept payments:
- Invoice manually outside of Thinkific
- Use one of our built-in payment integrations and set up an additional course price for the total bulk price you would like to charge your client
- Set up an external payment gateway of your choice that supports bulk purchasing
